Kerur, October 1: Vijayadashami Puja was organized on the occasion of Dussehra festival herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Kerur. Puja was offered to Goddess Durga by offering flowers and performing Aarti. The Vijayadashami program was started by the seniors participating in the program offering floral tributes to Goddess Durga. Student Kumari Nakshatra Hiremath gave information about Vijayadashami. Sri Gopal Ghanti, a member of the committee, told the students about the specialness of Vijayadashami, the importance of worship and the festival of Dussehra. The students entertained everyone by dressing up as avatars of Navadurgis. Students Kumari Sindhu and friends entertained everyone with a dance performance. It is special that the parents also participated.
ಕೆರೂರು, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 1: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ, ಕೆರೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದಸರಾ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ವಿಜಯದಶಮಿ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ದುರ್ಗಾದೇವಿಗೆ ಪುಷ್ಪಾರ್ಚನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರತಿ ಮಾಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ದುರ್ಗಾದೇವಿಗೆ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ಹಿರಿಯರು ದುರ್ಗಾದೇವಿಗೆ ಪುಷ್ಪಾರ್ಚನೆ ಮಾಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿಜಯದಶಮಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿಜಯದಶಮಿಯ ಕುರಿತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ಕುಮಾರಿ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರ ಹಿರೇಮಠ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದಳು. ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಘಂಟಿ ಅವರು ವಿಜಯದಶಮಿಯ ವಿಶೇಷತೆ, ಪೂಜೆಯ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವ ಹಾಗೂ ದಸರಾ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನವದುರ್ಗಿಯರ ಅವತಾರದ ವೇಷಭೂಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ರಂಜಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರಾದ ಕುಮಾರಿ ಸಿಂಧು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಗಡಿಗರಿಂದ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಮನರಂಜಿಸಿದರು. ಪಾಲಕರು ಸಹ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದುದು ವಿಶೇಷ.
