Kerur, Sep. 4: Sri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, Kerur.
- School Principal Sri Belal and Senior Teacher Smt. Shivaleela performed Krishna Puja.
- Gokulam students performed a song on ‘Children’s Sports’.
- Later, the students performed a colourful fancy dress show depicting various characters and forms related to Lord Krishna.
- Students of Class II also presented a captivating dance performance based on devotional and cultural themes.
- School Principal Sri Belal addressed the gathering and spoke about the significance of Sri Krishna Janmashtami. He said that the Krishna Avatar is the most important of the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Krishna Avatar is crucial because it established Dharma (righteousness) by destroying evil forces and guiding humanity through the complexities of life. She guided the students to read about Lord Krishna through the Bhagavad Gita and enjoy Krishna Leela
- To enhance the knowledge of the students about the life, teachings and significance of Lord Krishna, Smt. Rajeshwari conducted an interactive session titled “Questions about Krishna” in which students from Gokulam to 8th class actively participated.
- Students from 7th class and Gokulam division participated in the yoghurt -breaking ceremony.
The teaching staff wore traditional attire, with female teachers wearing traditional blue sarees, while male teachers wore traditional jubba and pyjamas.

- ಶಾಲಾ ಸಂಚಾಲಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಬೇಲಾಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶಿವಲೀಲಾ ಅವರು ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.
- ಗೋಕುಲಂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಬಾಲಕ್ರೀಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಡನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
- ನಂತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ವಿವಿಧ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ರೂಪಗಳನ್ನು ಚಿತ್ರಿಸುವ ವರ್ಣರಂಜಿತ ಫ್ಯಾನ್ಸಿ ಡ್ರೆಸ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
- ಎರಡನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿದ ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಸಹ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
- ಶಾಲಾ ಸಂಚಾಲಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಬೇಲಾಲ್ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಜನ್ಮಾಷ್ಟಮಿಯ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಭಗವಾನ್ ವಿಷ್ಣುವಿನ ಹತ್ತು ಅವತಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾವತಾರವು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾದದ್ದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.ಕೃಷ್ಣಾವತಾರವು ನಿರ್ಣಾಯಕವಾಗಿದೆ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದು ದುಷ್ಟ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮತ್ತು ಜೀವನದ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣತೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು (ಸದಾಚಾರ) ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿತು. ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಓದಲು ಮತ್ತು ಕೃಷ್ಣಲೀಲೆಯನ್ನು ಆನಂದಿಸಲು ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು
- ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನ ಜೀವನ, ಬೋಧನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರಾಜೇಶ್ವರಿ ಅವರು “ಕೃಷ್ಣನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು” ಎಂಬ ಸಂವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ಅಧಿವೇಶನವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದು, ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋಕುಲಂನಿಂದ 8 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.
- ಮೊಸರು ಕುಡಿಕೆ ಒಡೆಯುವ ಆಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 7 ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗೋಕುಲಂ ವಿಭಾಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.
- ಬೋಧನಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ವೇಷಭೂಷಣವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಮಹಿಳಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ನೀಲಿ ಸೀರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ, ಪುರುಷ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಜುಬ್ಬಾ ಮತ್ತು ಪೈಜಾಮಾ ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
