Kerur, Aug. 8: Varamahalakshmi Vrat and Rakshabandhan were celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Kerur. Varamahalakshmi Vrat Puja was performed. Later, Rakshabandhan program was celebrated. Students spoke about the importance of the festival. They tied Rakshabandhan to each other. Physical Education teacher Sri Babu gave an inspiring message. Students performed a dance. Sweets were distributed at the end of the program.
ಕೆರೂರು, ಆ. 8: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಕೆರೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವರಮಹಾಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ವ್ರತ ಹಾಗೂ ರಕ್ಷಾಬಂಧನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವರಮಹಾಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ವ್ರತ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಬಳಿಕ ರಕ್ಷಾಬಂಧನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಹಬ್ಬದ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಪರಸ್ಪರ ರಕ್ಷೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡರು. ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಾಬು ಅವರು ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಹಿಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಲಾಯಿತು.
