Kerur, Jan. 10: Makarasankranti was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Kerur.Sri Rama Bhat performed the puja which consisted of five grains.Students sang the song ‘Chellidaru Malligeya’. They spoke about the significance of the day.Jyotiba Deshmukh, Co-ordinator of District College Students, Kaladagi, spoke about Makar Sankranti and ‘Panch Parivarthana’.At the end of the program Sihipongal and Ellubella were distributed in the form of prasadam. It was special that the students participated in the program wearing traditional clothes.
ಕೆರೂರು, ಜ. 10: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಕೆರೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕರಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮ ಭಟ್ ಅವರು ಐದು ಧಾನ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೊಳಗೊಂಡ ಪೂಜೆವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ‘ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದರು ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆಯಾ’ ಹಾಡನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು. ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಕೋ -ಅರ್ಡಿನೇಟರ್, ಕಲಾದಗಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಬಾ ದೇಶಮುಖ್ ಅವರು ಮಕರ ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ‘ಪಂಚ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆ’ಯ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಾದ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಹಿಪೊಂಗಲ್, ಎಳ್ಳುಬೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಉಡಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ತೊಟ್ಟು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
