Kerur, Nov. 30: Karthika Deepotsava was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Kerur. Sri Ravi Bankatti, Samparka Vibhaga Pramukh graced the program. The program was started by lighting the lamp and worshipping Gopuja, Bharat Mata and Tulsi Puja. The Chief Guest Sri Ravi Shibankatti emphasized the importance of social service and unity and called upon the youth to join hands in the work of nation building through discipline, patriotism and social responsibility. Sri Gowdar, a committee member of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra., explained the role of education in shaping future leaders and stressed the need for value-based education that includes traditional culture along with modern education. Cultural programs were conducted. Students sang devotional songs; exhibited the dance. A skit was performed. Teachers participated in the Deeparati. A mass Aarti was performed in which the parents also participated. At the end, prasad was distributed.
ಕೆರೂರು, ನ. 30: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಕೆರೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ ದೀಪೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ವಿಭಾಗ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಪ್ರಮುಖರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರವಿ ಶೀಬಂಕಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿ ಗೋಪೂಜೆ, ಭಾರತಮಾತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ತುಲಸಿಪೂಜೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರವಿ ಶೀಬಂಕಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರು ಸಮಾಜಸೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡುತ್ತ, ಶಿಸ್ತು, ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ, ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಯುವಕರು ದೇಶ ಕಟ್ಟುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕರೆನೀಡಿದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಮಿತಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗೌಡರ್ ಅವರು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತ, ಆಧುನಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ಮೌಲ್ಯಾಧಾರಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಕ್ತಿಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು. ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಕಿರುನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ದೀಪಾರತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡರು. ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕವಾಗಿ ಆರತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲಕರೂ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡರು. ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಾದವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಲಾಯಿತು.
