World Ozone Day, a program was organized herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Kerur to raise awareness about the importance of ozone layer and the need to protect it. The program started with a brief introduction of World Ozone Day. The importance of ozone and the role that ozone layer plays in protecting the earth from harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation was explained.
